Terms and Conditions

These terms provide general information about using the CareSeal website and engaging CareSeal for quoted work. A written quote, accepted scope or other job-specific agreement may contain additional terms that apply to a particular project.

Quotes and scope

Quotes are based on the information and conditions reasonably available when the work is assessed. Work is limited to the agreed scope. Conditions that are concealed, inaccessible or materially different from those described or visible during assessment may require a revised scope or separate work.

CareSeal service scope

CareSeal provides leak repair, regrouting, sealing, caulking, epoxy applications and suitable surface-applied waterproofing for existing tiled areas. CareSeal does not replace or reconstruct underlying or under-tile waterproofing membranes. Plumbing faults, structural defects, concealed substrate failures or other work outside the agreed surface-repair scope may require an appropriately qualified specialist.

Access and existing conditions

Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the work area and advising CareSeal of known conditions that may affect the work. Existing tiles, substrates, fixtures and surrounding materials can have age-related, concealed or pre-existing defects that are outside the quoted repair scope.

Timing and use after completion

Timeframes are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise and can be affected by site conditions, curing requirements, access and the final scope. Customers should follow the job-specific care and curing instructions provided by CareSeal before using a repaired area.

Pricing and payment

Website prices described as “from” or starting prices are indicative only. The applicable price is the price in the accepted quote or other agreed scope. Payment requirements and due dates will be stated in the relevant quote, invoice or agreement.

Guarantees

Qualifying CareSeal work may include a written guarantee of up to 7 years. The existence, duration, coverage, exclusions and conditions of any guarantee are determined by the written guarantee supplied for that particular work. Website references to a guarantee do not mean every service or condition automatically receives the maximum period.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
